On February 12th, 2016, in a heated final battle between team NYIT and team VCAT of the Vaughn College of Aeronautics and Technology, team NYIT was victorious, winning the title of Tournament Champions at the VCAT VEX U Regional Qualifier!

On February 5th, 2016, Team NYIT finished 1st in the Skills challenge and 4th overall at the CSM VEX U Robotics Competition held in La Plata, Maryland!

The NYIT Bears VEX Team has recently entered 3 online challenges for the international VEX Robotics Competition, which offers students from elementary schools through to universities an opportunity to gain hands-on experience with building and programming in robotics as well as STEM concepts. Our goal is to be the best team in the world, but we need your help to qualify for the World Competition.
